Hounslow Animal Welfare Society is holding a Christmas jumble sale at Lindon Bennett school in Hanworth on Saturday December 5.
The event is open from 11am to 3pm at the Main Street school and all proceeds will go directly to help animals in the charity's care.
An information day for disabled adults will take place at Hounslow Council civic centre on Friday September 11 between 11am and 3pm.
The council and representatives from the voluntary sector will be on hand to give advice about service that are available and to find out what services the people of Hounslow would like introduced.

The Hanworth Carnival Organisation will be holding an extraordinary general meeting on Monday September 7 to discuss any issues raised by this year's last ever carnival.
The last ever carnival was held last month and anyone wishing to attend the EGM is welcome to turn up at Hanworth Village Hall in Park Road, Hanworth at 8pm.
Former members of the Feltham Boys Brigade, Scouts or Unit 3 Youth Club are invited to a reunion evening at Christ Church in Hanworth Road on Saturday September 5.
The event, which has been organised as part of the church's centenary celebrations, will take place between 7pm-10.30pm and a memorial window to the Boys Brigade will be unveiled.
Feltham Community College in Browells Lane will be a hive of activity this August with loads of fun things for local kids aged 7 - 15 to do. The crew from the Friday Night Project are running lots of different sports over two weeks from Monday 10th to Friday 17th August. Basketball, Rock Climbing, Golf, Rounders and Cricket are just some of the sports kids can try. The sessions run from 1pm to 4pm every day and cost just £20 per week, per child. There is a family membership of £30. Families on benefits or low income can get financial help to take part so they don't miss out. Mike Hunter Head Coach from the Police Community Boxing club, who runs sessions on a Friday night, is also running the ever popular 'Contender Box'. So, pop along to the Sports Hall on Friday 31st July or Friday 7th August, anytime between 8pm and 10pm to enrol. You could even sign up the Friday Night Project at the same time! Churches, a fire station and a farm will be among the properties opening their doors to the public for Feltham and Bedfont Open House Day on Saturday June 20.
The Feltham History Group have organised the day, which will see 10 premises open for inspection from 10.30am.
Hanworth Park Safer Neighbourhood Team have arranged a number of street briefings over the coming weeks for residents to meet the team and have their say about local issues or matters that concern them.
Members of the team will be in the following roads between 7pm and 8pm;

The Royal Naval Club, in Hanworth, is holding a social tea dance on Tuesday, January 6, 2009.
The fun afternoon event will run from 1.30pm-3.30pm. Entrance fee is £2, including refreshments.
The club is based at Park Road, Hanworth, and future dates have already been set as Tuesday Jan 20, February 3 & 17, March 3 & 17, April 7 & 21, and May 12 & 19. Everyone welcome.
Christmas rebels can enjoy some slightly more unusual yule activities over at the Urban Farm this winter where the animal packed grotto is already decked out in festive finery.
The farm's barn, complete with chickens, goats and sheep, has been transformed into a dazzling winter wonderland, where Santa will be greeting children and handing out gifts until the New Year.
