Tributes have been paid to a Hanworth milkman whose body was discovered in an ice-covered lake.

Phil Hughes, who worked at Dairy Crest's Hanworth depot, in Hanworth Road West, was found dead under the ice on Thursday by staff at the Lakeside Complex in Frimley Green, Surrey.

The 45-year-old, from Slough, had been staying at the hotel to watch the BDO World Darts Championship.

Dairy Crest issued a statement saying: "We are extremely saddened by the death of franchisee Phil Hughes from the Dairy Crest Hanworth depot. He was a great asset to our workforce and we offer our condolences to his wife Cherie and family."

We'd like to hear from you.
