Cannabis Factory Discovered

Officers swooped on a suspected cannabis factory in Lower Feltham at about 7am on Monday morning discovering a number of plants being grown in the loft of the house in Hayling Avenue.

Sergeant Darren Weston of Hanworth Park Safer Neighbourhood Team said the discovery was testament to the hard work of local communities who were increasingly coming forward with useful information.

"Successful seizures like this show people how keen Hounslow police are to stamp drugs out of the area," he said. "We were able to prevent these plants from being harvested and getting onto the streets and we have destroyed the factory in its infancy. There is a simple message to dealers and growers, the community will not tolerate illegal drug activity in our neighbourhood."
