forge-lane.jpgLittle performers at Forge Lane primary school put on an extra special show for the guests at their Senior Citizens Christmas Party on Friday.

Around 60 older people crowded into the Hanworth school to enjoy tea, mince pies and an afternoon performance of the children's nativity - It's a baby!

Community liaison officer Debbie Piper said: "It's good for the kids to have an understanding and respect for older people."

She added: "They meet and greet the guests and then put on their show for them."

As an added bonus, everyone who attended the party this year was given a tea towel designed by the pupils, to take home as an early Christmas gift.

We'd like to hear from you.
