Crane-Park-Young-Leaders.jpgFuture world leaders are in the making over at Crane Park Primary where a new programme is teaching the youngsters how to resolve conflicts and share skills.

The innovative two-day scheme has just been successfully completed by 16 year five and six pupils who learnt a range of games which they could share with younger children at lunch times.

The programme also concentrated on discussing the problems within the playground as well as creating solutions to every day problems.

Parent governor Janice Crook said: "The children thoroughly enjoyed the course and have stated using these new skills on the playground. They have also been using the friendship bench, which was one of the initiatives discussed in their training.

"Children across the school are enjoying the wonderful new games that have been introduced."

Monday saw the start anti-bullying week at the school, in Norman Avenue, Hanworth, and all the young leaders were presented with certificates during a special assembly.

We'd like to hear from you.
