Hounslow & District Allotments & Gardens Association annual show

If you want some reward for a hard year slaving over your vegetable patch then the Hounslow & District Allotments & Gardens Association annual show is the event for you.

Their event this weekend will showcase vegetables, fruit and flowers, floral art, cookery (including jams, jellies, bread and cakes), knitting, toys and craft work.

All classes are open and the entry fee is 20p per class. Forms are available from show secretary Alan Peck, who can be reached on 020 8898 0359, and must be returned by tomorrow (Friday August 15) to 1 Glen Walk, Hall Road, Isleworth.

The show will be held at St Stephen's Hall, Parkside Road, Hounslow. Entries must be staged by 12 noon on Saturday 16 and the show will open to the public at 3pm.

Visitors welcome, refreshments will be provided.
